Thanks for wanting to find out more about me

For as long as I can remember I have always loved problem-solving and design in a variety of disciplines, so it was a natural progression for me to evolve from my background in graphic design into user experience design.

Currently a senior contract designer at Microsoft, with 14 years of industry experience, my strengths lie in workshop facilitation, and designing for AI products, specialising in Android and iOS mobile platforms.

My past experience has varied from product ideation, conception, development and design to more finite tasks of identifying and resolving existing usability issues.

I found myself specialising in native mobile app design as I love the challenge of creating a  cohesive experience across different platforms, with such a small real estate to work with. 

I am lucky enough to have worked with some awesome founders and product leaders,  getting to experience working at a successful small start-up, SwiftKey, seeing it right through hyper-growth and eventually acquisition by Microsoft. 

I’ve also had the pleasure of working with some super bright and talented folk, who taught me a real love of working with passionate, curious, and collaborative people, who believe in always putting the user at the centre of all product decisions. They have shaped me into a designer who enjoys working with product management, data insights, user research, marketing, support and development teams and more throughout the whole of my design process.

I’m a multidisciplinary product designer with varied experience from product ideation, conception, development and design to more finite tasks of identifying and resolving existing usability issues.

I’m London born and bred but have had stints of living in Japan and Indonesia for both study and work.

Travel is a huge passion of mine, not only to quench my thirst for adventure and extreme sports, but being open to new experiences and learning from different people, places and cultures is what inspires and informs my design.

I am proud to say that at the SwiftKey group within Microsoft I am an Innovation Week Commando, helping to organise our Bi-annual Hackathon. Getting involved and working with others really inspires and motivates me.

I love creating, no matter what form it takes:  drawing, crafting, hand lettering, sewing, DIY, photographing-- you can check out some of the things I've made here.
